Once again, the estate was blessed with our own Christmas magic, with the 2024 carol service held on a crisp, dry evening on Friday 13th December.
Helen Fuller kindly provided this year’s venue, which was transformed from a traditional, delightful Aldwick Bay dwelling into Santa’s grotto — complete with Christmas buffet and musicians’ stage! A generous turnout resulted in £301.82 being raised, to be divided between the Children’s Burns Trust and the Bognor Food Bank. It was great to see some of our younger residents keen to meet Santa, who fitted us into his busy December schedule!
A big thanks to Helen and helpers, plus our talented musicians: Susan Legg on piano and vocals, Caroline Spurrier on cello, Louise Martin and Martin Smith on atmospheric festive brass.
